Legal and licensing
Music licensing
Your subscription gives you access to a licensed professional catalogue. Every track is cleared for commercial use, and MUNO holds the licence covering your room for the duration of your subscription. Its supplier holds every economic right in these works, and neither it nor their creators were members of a collecting society when those rights were transferred, so no society is entitled to represent them on the basis of membership.
Equitable remuneration (SPRE)
SPRE (Art. L. 214-1 of the CPI) is a statutory fee payable by the venue for any commercial use of recorded music, regardless of the catalogue played. It is not included in your MUNO subscription.
Music and rights
The catalogue is provided by Epidemic Sound, which holds the copyright to each track. Track titles and performers are displayed as provided.
The daily energy curve
The demand curve on the dashboard is measured, not invented: Park, Thom, Mennicken, Cramer and Macy, “Global music streaming data reveal diurnal and seasonal patterns of affective preference”, Nature Human Behaviour 3, 230–236 (2019).
Your obligations
You are responsible for declaring the SPRE to SACEM, which collects it on behalf of SPRE. MUNO does not calculate or declare it on your behalf. We provide an attestation naming where your catalogue comes from and stating that it is not affiliated to any collecting society. Keep your invoices: they may be requested during an inspection.
Unsaved changes - the room is still on the saved settings
Delete this account?
The music stops in the room straight away and the subscription ends at the
close of the paid month. Invoices already issued are kept for ten years, as the code de
commerce requires - deleting the account does not delete them.
